At Piece Quiltery’s 4th Anniversary Show and Sale
Our fourth anniversary Show and Sale will be held May 3rd and 4th, 2008. Everything I stock will be 25% off for the 2 day sale event. For the first time we will have completed quilts for sale and quilt tops made at the shop as well as our in stock merchandise. Store hours for the two days will be Saturday, 9 until 4 and Sunday, noon until 4.
The quilt show will take place only on Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. All quilts entered are either made from fabric purchased at our shop or in one of our classes. There are three divisions: Large Quilts (over 200” ) in perimeter, Small Quilts (200” or under in perimeter) and Miscellaneous (pillows, bags, jacket, vests, table runners, etc). All quilt registration forms are due April 25 and quilts must be delivered to the shop by May 1. There will be no PMS on the first Friday of May due to the show and sale. We have a few more surprises in store for this year so check our website periodically for updates. In past years we have had 150+ items on display. Come vote for your favorite. Viewers choice prizes are awarded to first, second and third place in each division.
This annual quilt show is held in all stores in our complex: Palmer Nursery, Green Acres, Desmond Pool and Spa, as well as our shop. We hope to also include Little Chef’s Academy. Refreshments and door prizes.
SHOP HOP 2008
Mark your calendar!!! The dates are set for the 2008 Eastern Pennsylvania Shop Hop; November 1st – November 17th. This includes three full weekends along with the full weekdays in-between. Seventeen shops will be participating. The theme for this year’s event is STARS OVER PENNSYLVANIA, which will be followed through in the quilt block kits for sale in each participating shop. Once again, a free kit will be given out with the purchase of a passport. The passports go on sale August 1st. More details to follow, as they are decided
PROGRAMS FOR GUILDS
At Piece Quiltery will be happy to entertain your guild at our shop for an evening of light refreshments, shopping and demonstrations on notions and/or techniques used in quilting. If you need to hold a brief meeting first, our classroom is available. Just call or email the shop to make arrangements. We give a brief introduction to our shop and what we have available in lines of fabrics, patterns, kits, blocks of the months, notions and anything we think is special to our shop. If there are any special demonstrations you would like us to do, ask and we can probably accommodate you.
